FREESTYLE

All Freestyle sessions, regardless of level, are strictly for figure skating practice and figure skating lessons unless otherwise noted (e.g. hockey power skating lessons with a coach) Freestyle sessions are provided for the practice of jumps, spins, turns, steps, moves in the field/skating skills, etc. Skaters are allowed to share the sound system in order to practice their routines to music. Skaters are provided with full ice usage and no cones are allowed on Freestyle sessions.

Admission is $10 per session. Participants are asked to sign in and pay prior to getting on ice.

JUNIOR ACADEMY /ASPIRE

The U.S Figure Skating Aspire program helps beginning figure skaters make the transition from Learn to Skate class into U.S Figure skating membership. In a group setting skater learn the proper skill development and training techniques while sampling different skating opportunities and fine-tuning their fundamental skating skills. Classes will provide basic mechanics of jumping and spinning, basic moves in the field & ice dance skills. Off-ice portion includes strength and stretch, dance and creative movement to music & jumps and spinner training.

Weekly 60-minute group on-ice class and 30-minute group off-ice class is included in the price. 

All participants must register for the Aspire program before they begin. Registration can be done online, by clicking here

Sign-up & payment due by first attended class. Skaters must have passed Basic 5/6 and have their own skates (no rentals)
